A water droplet falls into a basin. The unsteady Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible fluid are used. A water column ("droplet") under influence of a gravity falls into a water basin. The picture shows the evolution (splash) of a water free surface. The technique of continuous marker is applied. The numerical scheme implements pressure correction method and is conservative. The problem is solved in a frame of "Research in Brussels" grant in 1999. Code ASTRA.
